With the success of The Debussy Project, FuseBox has begun to plan its' next season in earnest. Now, we take some time to look back at Debussy, from the people involved, to the details of the performance, and the many, many people we have to thank.

The Debussy Project was performed by Jessica Nance on viola, Christina Webster on flute, and Tabitha Reist Steiner on harp. KC Metropolis Classical Contributor and composer Stacy Bush reviewed the October 1st performance, calling it ". . . transporting, thoughtful, and dreamlike." An additional concert, which was recorded by FuseBox member and collaborater AJ Harbinson, took place on October 4th.  The full recording is available here. Each performance was well-attended, despite cold weather for the October 4th performance. A rough headcount confirmed 30-40 attendees at each event.

This project would not have been possible without the generous support of ArtsKC, which awarded FuseBox an Inspiration Grant to fund the rehearsal costs and other expenses. The commissions were funded by generous donations from the many supporters who joined us at our fundraiser at Goodden Jewellers, generously hosted by Elizabeth and Rick Goodden in July.

Look for announcements in the next few weeks as we plan our 2016-2017 season!
